Some facts about Eduardo Hoyos

Eduardo Hoyos trained at the University of Engineering in Peru.  After completing his Diploma in Architecture,  he obtained an scholarship from the Iberoamerican Institute to continue post graduate studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya ETSAB  in Barcelona, before obtaining a Masters Degree in Urban Design at the South Bank University in London.

Before establishing Eduardo Hoyos Architect in 2003 , Eduardo Hoyos had extensive experience in architecture, interior design and urban projects. He worked in collaboration with other practices in Peru and the UK, producing designs for residential, institutional, commercial and local authority clients.

In the past he has done work for Exeter City Council, preparing an architectural and urban appraisal of the buildings in the city centre, prior to its redevelopment in the late 90's. As well as for Lima City Council, developing strategies and urban proposals for derelict areas in need of redevelopment.

Apart from his practical experience, Eduardo Hoyos was also a spatial design tutor at Somerset College of Arts and Technology, and Plymouth University. Having also taught previously at the National University of Engineering architectural design.
